Rising star Ethan Loch, aged 19 years, won the BBC Young Musician Keyboard Category Final with the judges remarking that he "found orchestral colours on the piano like no-one else can"
He was featured on the "The List, Top 100 people to watch in 2022"
He's an expert in Chopin and has participated twice in the Festival of Chopin in Matzovia, winning prizes in several categories.
He was awarded his first major international award at the Premio Asoluto "Giuseppe Sciacca" awards at the Vatican in Rome. He has won other Prizes eg 7th James Waterhouse Loretto Piano Competition "Advanced" and performed at the Steinway Hall in London
He was born in 2004 and was diagnosed completely blind since birth, but started to play piano as a toddler.
He has recently had his professional orchestral debut, with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra playing chopin's Piano concerto No.2 - the first of many!
His programme for the evening will include pieces by Chopin, Liszt, Debussy and others, together with some of his own compositions.
