Ethan Loch is a 19 year old piano prodigy and was a finalist in BBC’s Young Musician Competition 2022, after winning the keyboad category final. Ethan also won the Scottish International Piano competition 2019 and was a finalist in the EPTA Belgium International Piano Competition in 2018. He will play a varied programme of pieces from Chopin and Debussy. One not to miss! This concert has been re-arranged from 2023.

The Chicago Teddy Bears Jazz Band originated in Manchester in the 1970’s. The name came from a short lived American TV SitCom. Fortunately the band has proved more durable than the TV Series. They have entertained audiences across the UK and Europe for nearly 50 years. They play Jazz styles from Dixieland through New Orleans to Mainstream and Swing!

The Talland Quartet is a versatile and dynamic ensemble who formed during their studies at the Royal Northern College of Music. After only three months of working together, they won the RNCM’s Hirsch Prize and in April 2023 they won the RNCM Brodsky Prize. They are all enthusiastic musicians, passionate about sharing their love of chamber music with others.

Trio Kagura is a young trio based in Manchester. The name Kagura is taken from the Japanese word for ritual music and dance that is performed to bring joy and peace. The trio was founded in 2018 at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. They perform regularly at the RNCM’s annual chamber music festivals and have appeared at the Lake District Summer Music Festival. They also hold annual concerts in M.K. Ciurlionis House in Vilnius, Lithuania.
